Artist's Biography

To the right is me and my Snuggles, sitting in a chair that served as a cross country jump in Lexington Kentucky. Anyone that knows me for more than 5 minutes will realize that animals, and especially dogs, are very important to me. I’ve always loved animals, and worked briefly at a veterinary clinic. Sadly, we had to have Snuggles put to sleep on November 3, 2003, after a long illness. I just adopted an Australian Cattle Dog named Trixie, I’ll be uploading photos of her soon.

I studied at Bradley University for 3 1/2 years, pursuing a sculpture degree. I’ve also attended workshops and seminars with Candace Liddy and Lesli Kathman. Currently I still live in Peoria, IL, with my wonderful parents while working as an artist. I also enjoy reading and playing Zoo Tycoon on the computer. My mother also loves the model horse hobby, and always comes along to Breyerfest with me in the end of July. (Sometimes I think she likes it more than I do!) Anyway, that’s the short version of my life... I may add some more photos here eventually.
